VesSpiral® Design Feature The Vespiral® is Rapid Exchange PTCA Balloon Catheter designed with integrated anti-slip & scoring components to dilate narrow blood vessels during coronary angioplasty. Patented Spiral Design: Anti-slip and low pressure dilation A regular balloon is a cylindrical structure made of the same material, and its principle of expanding blood vessels is achieved by continuously pressing the narrow blood vessels by inflating the balloon. However, this method often leads to tearing of the intima or the formation of dissections. In addition, during the continuous expansion...

VesSpiral® Coronary Spiral Balloon Catheter is different from both the regular balloon and any scoring balloon currently on the market. Its surface components are made of the same material as the balloon and is integrally formed, which means its expansion is also different from both the regular balloon and other scoring balloon. Safe and controlled Dilation:Minimal tissue damage, fast healing With the increase of expansion pressure, the stress on the regular balloon increases linearly. Although the stress on the component of the scoring balloon also increases linearly, the stress on the...

Low-pressure expansion:Highly safe Based on the continuous convex-concave structure of the spiral , when the balloon is inflated, similar to the scoring balloon, the pressure first focuses on the protruding part of the balloon (When the pressure at protruding part reaches 4 ATM, the stress is equivalent to that of a conventional balloon at 8 ATM, as shown in Figure 1), thereby fixing the balloon on the vessel wall and achieving effective dilation (Figure 1 & 2)., thereby fixing the balloon on the vascular wall and effectively expanding it (Figure 1 & 2). Anti-slip during expansion:Prevent balloon displacement and vascular injury. Balloon displacement during expansion can occur in PCI procedures, especially in atherosclerotic or calcified plaques. Balloon displacement can cause inaccurate expansion and vascular wall injury (as shown in Figure 3 & 6). The grooves on the surface of the spiral balloon, similar to tank tracks, can significantly increase the friction between the balloon and the vessel wall. Moreover, as the pressure increases, the groove depth gradually becomes shallower and eventually becomes the same as a regular balloon....

Dongguan TT Medical, Inc. No risk of components falling off: Currently scoring balloons' components are made of metal or hardplastic, which are fixed to the balloon surface through welding or adhesive bonding after secondary forming. Compared with conventional balloons, in addition to the poor crossability mentioned above, there is another safety hazard - the risk of components falling off.Especially when used in stents or calcified lesions, the scored components are often trapped in the mesh of the stent or in the calcified tissue.VesSprial® coronary Spiral balloon catheter integrate the...
