AIRDROXlite Inhaler Spacer
The AIRDROX Inhaler Spacer is a medical device designed to enhance the effectiveness of metered-dose inhalers (MDIs). It is suitable for all ages, particularly beneficial for children and the elderly, and aims to improve drug delivery to the lungs while minimizing side effects such as throat irritation.
The spacer is available in three sizes (S, M, L) to accommodate infants, children, and adults. Each spacer has a volume of 175 ml and is made from antistatic ABS material. The product is CE certified and complies with ISO13485 and ISO9001 standards, ensuring premium quality and safety.
- Silicon Face Mask: Ergonomically designed to fit facial contours, providing a comfortable and secure seal.
- Antistatic Spacer: Reduces electrostatic charge to improve drug delivery.
- Universal pMDI Backpiece: Durable and compatible with all pMDIs.
- One-Way Valves: Prevents exhaled air from entering the spacer, ensuring medication remains effective.
- Safety Whistle: Alerts users if inhalation is too rapid.
- Inspect the spacer for any damage before use.
- Shake the inhaler and insert it into the spacer.
- Secure the mask on the face, press the inhaler, and inhale slowly through the spacer.
- Hold breath for 5-10 seconds, then exhale slowly.
- Repeat for additional puffs if necessary, waiting 10-15 seconds between puffs.
- Rinse mouth after use.
- Disassemble the spacer and soak parts in lukewarm water with mild detergent for 15 minutes.
- Rinse, shake off excess water, and air dry vertically.
- Reassemble once completely dry.
- Not dishwasher safe.
- Slow inhalation if the whistle sounds.
- Use only one puff per breath.
