Specifications:
Ensure the ATMOS system is turned on and set to "Accuracy" mode. Select the appropriate pipette size before proceeding.
Procedure:
  1. Insert the pipette tip into the designated port, ensuring no liquid is present in the tip.
  2. Press the button on the screen to initiate the process.
  3. When prompted with the "Press and Hold" image, press the piston down within approximately one second, as indicated by the blue progress bar.
  4. Do not exceed the first stop of the piston and maintain stability during the hold period, indicated by the red progress bar.
  5. Release the piston when the "Release" prompt appears, as shown by the green progress bar. The tip can remain in the port for subsequent measurements.
Post-Measurement Options:
  • Skip: Discard the measurement; it will not be stored.
  • Next: Store the current data and begin a new measurement.
  • End: Conclude the series and display statistics, requiring a minimum of three measurements for analysis.
Upon selecting "End," the average and standard deviation of the measurement series are displayed. To initiate a new series, select "New measurement" or choose another function.

ATMOS Quick Guide Pipette Testing Procedure-1

Quick Guide Pipette Testing Procedure Turn on ATMOS and select “Accuracy” on the main screen. Select your pipette size. Insert the pipette tip into the port. NO LIQUID IN THE TIP! Press the piston down when the “Press and Hold” image appears on screen. The displacement should be done in about one second (blue progress bar). Don’t move over the first stop of the piston. Keep stable during the hold period (red progress bar). Release the piston when “Release” appears on the screen (green progress bar). No need to remove the tip from the port until the next measurement. Choose what to do with your measurement: • Skip: discard measurement, not stored in memory. • Next: start new measurement, current data is stored. • End: Stop series and show statistics (min. 3 measurements necessary). After selecting “End”, you see the average of your measurement series and the standard deviation. Select “New measurement” to start a new series or select another function.
