Anaesthetic Monitoring Oesophageal ECG and Temperature Probes A range of probes suitable for use in small animals and horses Oesophageal probes provide a convenient way to monitor a number of parameters, the most common of which are ECG and body temperature. The Oesophageal Probe is lightly lubricated before introducing it in to the oesophagus and passing it down to the level of the heart.
