Fields of Application: Both S1 and S2 Impression machines are suitable for dry and wet machining. They can process materials such as plastics, wax, zirconium oxide, composites, CoCr, and glass ceramics.
Indications: These machines are used for creating crowns, bridges, fully anatomical crowns and bridges, inlays, onlays, abutments, telescope crowns, model plates, model casts, bite splints, model plug-in teeth, implant bars, veneers, and table-tops.
Basic System: Both machines feature a construction machine bed made of massive aluminum cast with 5 axes and an x/y/z positioning range of 140 x 98 x 76 mm. They use precise ball screw spindles for the 3 linear axes, with a motor resolution of less than 1 μm and ground steel precision guide rails.
Repetition Accuracy: Both machines have a repetition accuracy of ± 0.003 mm.
Housing: The working chamber is completely encapsulated with a closable front cover and an automatic safety interlock during the machining process. S2 has additional illumination for the blank changer.
Dimensions and Weight: S1 measures approximately 490 x 445 x 540 mm and weighs about 75 kg, while S2 measures approximately 692 x 445 x 540 mm and weighs about 95 kg.
Rotary Axes: Both machines have an A axis with high true running accuracy for 360° processing and a B axis with a rotation range of ± 30°, both using Harmonic Drive® free from backlash.
