Liberty PT and PPS seat cushion The Liberty PPS is a Liberty PT cushion with the addition of a ‘pelvic stabilizer’. This is a hard-foam base with a half-moon shaped cut-out at the location of the seat bones. The pelvic stabilizer prevents the pelvis from tilting backwards, and this prevents the user from sliding forward. It also improves the contour of a sling seat. The Liberty PPS 45x45, including cover, weighs approx. 830 grams. Cleaning Treat light stains by wiping the cushion cover with a damp cloth, using a mild detergent. Difficult spots or stains can be cleaned by first saturating the spot and then using a soft brush to loosen the dirt, or by machine washing the cushion cover at 60 °C. The Liberty PT seat cushion is developed for wheelchair users with a low to moderate risk of skin breakdown. This preventive care cushion is lightweight and waterproof. The Liberty PPS seat cushion offers the same prevention as the Liberty PT, but also supports good pelvic positioning. Product description The Liberty PT is the alternative to foam cushions. The top layer of both covers is twoway-stretchable, to enable optimal immersion of the body into the cushion. The Comfair cover has a breathable top layer, for comfort and to absorb moisture.
