Hydrogen Peroxyde for TwinCruiser®

Product catalog summary
Introduction
Ready-to-use disinfectants PX07 (Amity PX07) and STR7 (Steri-Safe HP) are designed for use in TwinCruiser airborne disinfection systems. These products are delivered as a dry mist of Hydrogen Peroxide, an effective oxidizing agent against microorganisms, including Multi-Resistant Organisms (MROs).
Main Substance
Both PX07 and STR7 contain 7.5% concentration of Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2). The CAS number is 7722-84-1, and the EINECS number is 231-765-0. The concentration range for PX07 is 7 to 12% w/w, while for STR7, it is 5 to 8% w/w.
Antimicrobial Data
PX07 complies with standards such as NF T72-281:2009 and several EN standards, while STR7 complies with NF T72-281:2014 and other EN standards. PX07 is classified as a Medical Device Class IIB under MDD Compliance (93/42/EEC), whereas STR7 is not classified as a medical device.
Packaging and Usage
Both products are packaged in 2.5L RFID containers. PX07 is available in 2 x 2.5L containers, suitable for approximately five applications in a 60 m3 room. The TwinCruiser system can operate with one or two containers, with automatic switching managed by a PLC. The shelf life is 24 months in unopened containers, with an on-board life of 3 months.
Material Compatibility
The disinfectants are safe for electronics and compatible with various metals, plastics, and elastomers, including stainless steel, Teflon, ABS, and more.
Biodegradability and Storage
The products are considered easily biodegradable under OECD criteria. They should be stored vertically at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C, away from direct sunlight and other damaging conditions.
Mechanism and Actions
Hydrogen Peroxide is misted through a venturi nozzle, oxidizing lipidic structures, producing hypochlorite and radical hydroxyls, and deteriorating ribosomes and DNA. The Peroxone process involves ozone dilution and hydrogen peroxide addition, enhancing oxidation efficiency and ozone transfer.

METALS CHROMIUM PLATE (ON STEEL) MATERIAL COMPATIBILITY NATURAL RUBBER ACRYLIC NYLON 6, 6-6, 12 PVC BIO-DEGRADABILITY DEEMED TO BE EASILY BIODEGRADABLE UNDER OECD CRITERIA. UNDER NORMAL STORAGE CONDITIONS: STORE PX07 AND/OR STR7 VERTICALLY AT A TEMPERATURE BETWEEN 5°C AND 25°C OUT OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT. STORE PRODUCTS IN APPROPRIATE STORAGE ROOM (AWAY FROM DUST, SUNLIGHT, HEAT, EXTREME COLD, EXCESSIVE MOISTURE, OR DAMAGING CHEMICALS). MECHANISM & ACTIONS Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2): Hydrogen Peroxide is misted through a venturi nozzle (5 - 8 µm). The H2O2 oxidizing action involves: • Oxidation of the lipidic structures of the membrane; • Production of hypochlorite and radical hydroxyls; • Deterioration of ribosomes and DNA per cytoplasmic penetration. Peroxone (O3 + H2O2): The process involves 2 essential steps : Ozone dilution and hydrogen peroxide addition. There are two major effects from the coupling of the ozone with hydrogen peroxide: • Oxidation efficiency is increased by conversion of ozone molecules to hydroxyl radicals; And • Ozone transfer from the gas phase to the liquid is improved due to an increase in ozone reaction The information provided in this document is non-contractual.
