Ultrascope

Product catalog summary
Overview: The Ultrascope Veterinary Doppler Stethoscope is designed for ease of use similar to a traditional stethoscope. It utilizes ultrasound frequencies to detect various sounds and signal penetration depths, tailored to different animal types.
Models and Specifications:
  • MODEL 8 (8.0 MHz): Suitable for evaluating the cardiovascular system in exotic animals and detecting peripheral blood flow in small mammals. It can also measure systolic blood pressure.
  • MODEL 5 (5.0 MHz): Ideal for monitoring early gestation fetal sounds in small mammals and listening to blood flow in deeper vessels of larger animals.
  • MODEL 2 (2.25 MHz): Used for assessing heart rate and rhythm in larger animals and checking pregnancy progress in large mammals.
Uses:
  • Confirm pregnancy in small animals.
  • Hear arterial and venous blood flow.
  • Evaluate discreet cardiac sounds.
  • Measure systolic blood pressure with a blood pressure set.
  • Detect egg embryos.
Features:
  • Super-sensitive ultrasound technology.

Hear arterial and venous blood flow. Evaluate discreet cardiac sounds. Measure systolic blood pressure in conjunction with blood pressure set. Detect egg embryos. FEATURES Super-sensitive ultrasound 9 volt battery operated Light weight pocket design Ultrascope Dopplers are as easy to use as a stethoscope. Sensitivity to various sounds and the depth of signal penetration is determined by the frequency of the ultrasound used. Heart sounds in a dog may require 5 MHz., while the same sounds in a snake would be best heard with 8 MHz. MODEL 8 (8.0 MHZ.) Evaluate cardio-vascular system in exotics. Detect peripheral blood flow in small mammals. Measure systolic blood pressure. MODEL 5 (5.0 MHZ.) Monitor early gestation fetal sounds in small mammals. Listen to blood flow in the deeper vessels of larger animals. MODEL 2 (2.25 MHZ.) Assess rate and rythym of heart in larger animals. Check progress of pregnancy in many large mammals.
