When air is evacuated using the efficient hand pump, the pad becomes ridged as it molds to the shape of the body providing a cradle of support and holding the patient in the best position for the procedure. The Dynamic Heat Control media contained in the VacuPad, when pre-heated, helps replenish body heat lost while under anesthesia by transfering stored heat to the patient by conduction. The VacuPad is available in two sizes, catalog P24 (24" x 16") and catalog P36 (36" x 23").
