MORE THAN 70 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF KNITTED VASCULAR PROSTHESES Knitted vascular prosthesis with collagen Ra K incompressible KNITTED VASCULAR PROSTHESIS OFFERS: High mechanical resistance The prosthesis wall is reinforced with a polyethylene yarn that can be easily removed at the ends. Direct use The collagen layer allows the prosthesis to be used without the need for any modification before implantation. Simple adjustment The prosthesis can be cut to the desired shape at the ends with scissors, the edges do not fray and thus allow the creation of a fine anastomosis. Easy handling Coloured guiding line for easy orientation in the surgical wound and easy prosthesis handling during the surgery. Parameters Water permeability and leakage <5 ml.cm-2.min-1. Impregnation with crosslinked bovine collagen, formaldehyde and glutaraldehyde free. Indications The knitted vascular prosthesis with collagen is indicated for surgical treatment of aneurysms and arterial occlusions. Thanks to its mechanical resistance, the prosthesis is suitable for extraanatomical bypasses and bridging of large joints.
