Introduction
The WIBO® Flexible Isolator is designed to enhance existing WIBO® systems, providing a closed system that ensures maximum safety with an Occupational Exposure Limit (OEL) of less than 1µg/m³. It offers a project-specific and customer-oriented solution for handling active and highly toxic substances.
Specifications
The isolator features glove ports and is customizable based on the specific process requirements. It operates effectively in negative pressure environments, achieving a containment level of less than 1µg/m³. The system includes interfaces for infeeding and outfeeding using a continuous liner, with docking facilitated by a double O-ring. The film used is highly resistant to tearing and puncturing, available in materials such as PU, PE, and PVC.
Installation and Operation
The setup kit includes a clamping and holding fixture, an air connection to the WIBO® air system, and a workplate for covering the scale. This allows for easy and quick installation. A vacuum test can be conducted post-installation to ensure leak-proof operation. The isolator can be retrofitted to existing WIBO® systems or designed with a separate frame if needed.
Air Filtering
The system incorporates an H14 exhaust air filter within the isolator and F9 and H13 filters in the WIBO® system, ensuring effective air filtration.
