Sterile Class IIb Medical Device in gel format for cleansing, autolytic debridement, and hydration of lesions and perilesional borders. UCGel™ Debridement is a system used in major hospitals and university centers across Europe. UCGel™ Debridement supports an effective approach to managing skin lesions. It promotes debridement through autolysis by gently rehydrating necrotic tissue. It aids in the cleansing and hydration of the lesion, fostering healing in a moist environment. Before using UCGel™ Debridement, it is recommended to clean the lesion with a gauze or cloth soaked in UCSol™ Debridement to remove any residue or exudate. Areas of use: Arterial, venous, mixed ulcers Diabetic ulcers Pressure sores Abrasions Chronic wounds Acute wounds Surgical wounds Traumatic wounds 1st and 2nd degree burns Fistulas Chemical and radiation-induced lesions Post-operative lesions Amputations Product Description: UCGel™ Debridement is a sterile, ready-to-use gel for the cleansing, autolytic debridement, and hydration of skin lesions. It can be applied directly to the lesion and/or inside the cavity to keep it constantly hydrated. The combined action of autolytic debridement and the surfactant solution dissolves and disrupts the biofilm, reducing its presence and slowing its reforming. It absorbs excess exudate from the lesion, preventing debris accumulation and slough formation. If slough is already present, the gel's particularly effective rehydrating action allows gentle and effective removal without damaging the new granulation tissue. During this phase, the frequency of dressing changes depends on the exudate amount present. Therefore, daily replacement is recommended to maximize the cleansing action. UCGel™ Debridement promotes healing in a moist environment, preventing eschar formation. This allows epithelial cell migration, creating favorable conditions for re-epithelialization and scarring. The airless bottle allows for easy, targeted, and controlled application, even on hard-to-reach sites. UCGel™ Debridement is non-adherent and can be easily removed from the lesion with simple saline washing, without damaging particularly fragile tissue or causing pain to the patient. Aloe barbadensis (Leaf Extract): Natural moisturizing and antioxidant ingredient, with antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Promotes the regeneration of the skin's superficial layers. The aloe used is certified as an organic component free of BSE/TSE, GMOs, and pesticides. Allantoin: Natural antibacterial. Provides skin protection with anti-inflammatory, soothing, and moisturizing effects. It has a keratolytic action and stimulates cellular and epithelial proliferation by acting on fibroblasts and increasing extracellular matrix synthesis. CHRONIC WOUND MANAGEMENT DEBRIDEMENT - CLEANSING AND HYDRATION Poloxamer (P188) Non-ionic surfactant. Acts deeply on the wound bed, facilitating cleansing and debridement. Helps separate non-viable tissues and microbial particles from the wound bed, promoting their eradication. Exhibits an excellent safety profile as it is non-cytotoxic, non-histolesive, and non-irritating t

Acts as amphoteric surfactants that enhance the surfactant action of Poloxamer 188 through a deep cleansing action on the skin. Benzalkonium Chloride: Antiseptic and disinfectant, acts on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It alters the normal structure of bacterial membranes, resulting in the loss of enzymes, coenzymes, and nutrients, with a bactericidal action. Benzalkonium chloride is used in many preparations as an antiseptic or...
