If liquids are spilled on the thermometer, dry off the thermometer with a clean cloth. Check for proper operation and accuracy. Welch Allyn SureTemp Plus Button Functions Buttons Press and release the C/F (Celsius/Fahrenheit) button to toggle between temperature scales any time a temperature is displayed on the LCD. Pulse Timer/Monitor Press and release the Pulse Timer/Monitor Mode button to activate the timer. Audible beeps sound at 0, 15, 30, 45, and 60 seconds.
