It has a reinforced Isolation of 4000V for 1 Minute, so it separates your applied Parts from other Devices. The new MI-RS 912 Serial Port Isolator can be used for medical electrical Systems in order to reduce the leakage current and to isolate the applied Parts from the IT Devices. The MI-RS 912 protects your Devices against voltages surges, lightning strikes, GND loops and noise conditions. Due to Plug & Play support, there is no extra driver needed. The MI-RS 9012 only need less than 10mA Current from the RS-232 Port, so it has a very high compatibility to various Chipsets and Devices and it don't need any additional Power Supply. There is a high Speed optical Isolator installed inside of the MI-RS 912 so very high transfer rates up to 912600 bps are supported, too. It also reduce high frequency noise and interferences due to a special filter System.
