The system includes complete procedure kits in single-use sterile packaging to prevent delays due to missing components.

System Overview
  • Kit Components: Includes Straight Compression Plate, Double-ended Drill Guide, Drill Bit (2.0mm or 2.8mm), Small Depth Gauge (65mm), and Solid T15 Screwdriver.
  • Plate Features: Low-profile design for pediatric patients, compression slots for positioning and fracture compression, rounded tips to reduce soft tissue irritation, and K-wire holes for provisional fixation. Available in various sizes (4-hole to 10-hole) with a thickness of 3.42mm.
  • Screws: 2.7mm and 3.5mm cortical and locking screws available separately, designed for fixation in cortical bone with specific features for compression and fixation.

Indications
The system is indicated for fracture fixation and osteotomy in pediatric and adult patients.

Surgical Technique
  • Exposure & Fracture Reduction: Position the patient, expose the surgical site, and reduce the fracture. Use lag screws for stabilization if necessary.
  • Plate Selection & Placement: Select and place the plate, provisionally fix it with K-wires, and use the appropriate drill bit and guide for screw insertion. Preoperative planning is recommended.
  • Screw Insertion: Use the double-ended drill guide for drilling and insert screws using a screwdriver. Determine screw length with a depth gauge.
  • Closure: Perform an intraoperative radiograph to check fracture reduction and screw position. Close the wound as per surgeon preference.

SURGICAL TECHNIQUE Preoperative planning is recommended to assess the fracture and determine the appropriate plate length. Warning: Be cautious of plate and/or screw placement in patients with open growth plates. Exposure and Fracture Reduction Position patient appropriately for the selected small bone procedure. Expose the surgical site according to surgeon’s preference. Reduce the fracture according to standard practice.
