Introduction
This study investigates the alleviation of pain induced by Fructose Diphosphate Sodium (FDP) infusion in patients with ischemic heart disease using different types of infusion filters. The research compares the effectiveness of Common 15μm Filters and Precision Filters in reducing pain.

Methodology
Participants: 100 patients with ischemic heart disease, aged between 38 and 73, participated in the study.
Procedure: A single-blind method was used. Patients received FDP infusions alternately through Common 15μm Filters (Control Group) and Precision Filters (Observation Group). Pain levels were assessed using a 0-10 linear visual simulation scale.
Statistical Analysis: Data were analyzed using the chi-square test.

Results
The study found a significant difference in pain levels between the two groups (P<0.01). In the Control Group, 96% of patients experienced moderate to severe pain, whereas in the Observation Group, only 24.9% reported such pain levels. The Precision Filters significantly reduced the incidence of pain.

Discussion
Pain during FDP infusion is attributed to stimulation of sensory nerves by hydrogen ions and particles. Precision Filters, with a smaller pore size of 3µm, effectively remove over 90% of insoluble particles, reducing vascular endothelial cell stimulation and pain.

Conclusion
The use of Precision Infusion Filters is recommended for reducing pain associated with FDP infusions in patients with ischemic heart disease.

The patient complaints about FDP-induced pain was recorded and analyzed. The pain levels of patients treated with two different filters were compared. Significant difference was found between two groups (P<0.01). The results showed that FDP-induced pain can be effectively alleviated by the use of Precision Infusion Filters. Since FDP belongs to an acidic solution, after it enters the cell, the concentration of lactic acid is increased by activating phosphofructokinase to promote glycolysis, causing spasm of vascular smooth muscle[1]. Therefore, when the patient is infused with FDP intravenously, in less serious cases the symptoms of soreness and pain may occur and transmit from the puncture point along the vein; in severe cases, the patient may have irritability, increased heart rate, mood swings and so on. About 10% of patients refused to continue taking the drug because they could not tolerate severe pain, 6% of patients had aseptic phlebitis[2]. In March 2004, our department compared the effect of Common 15μm Filter and Precision Filter on reducing the pain induced by FDP infusion. The report is as follows. 1 Objects & Methods 1.1 Objects 100 patients with ischemic heart disease who received FDP infusion were randomly selected, including 56 males and 46 females, the oldest being 73 years old and the youngest being 38 years old, with an average of 48.2 years old. All patients had no specific pain associated with medication prior to FDP treatment. 1.2 Methods 1.2.1 Infusion Method: Single blind method was adopted when patients received FDP infusion treatment. Infusion Sets with different filter pores were used alternately in the right and left limb veins. The Infusion Sets with Common 15μm Filters were used on odd days (Control Group), with 198 punctures.
