Arrange the ribbon as shown in the picture ready to receive the battery holder. Open the battery compartment lid. Insert the battery holder making sure that the silver plate fits correctly into the battery compartment. Note: If the battery holder is installed incorrectly, the battery compartment lid may not close properly. In this case, remove the battery holder, refit batteries correctly and re-install.
