As stated in Article 6 of Directive 2014/35/EU, "When placing their electrical equipment on the market, manufacturers shall ensure that it has been designed and manufactured in accordance with the safety objectives referred to in Article 3 and set out in Annex I" and “Manufacturers shall draw up the technical documentation referred to in Annex III and carry out the conformity assessment procedure referred to in Annex III or have it carried out”. This certificate and test results obtained apply only to the product sample(s) submitted by the Applicant. UL did not select the sample(s) or determine whether the sample(s) provided were representative of other manufactured products. UL has not established Follow-Up Service or other surveillance of the product. The Certificate Holder is solely and fully responsible for any declaration of ongoing conformity of all products to all applicable Standard(s), specifications or requirements. The test results may not be used, in whole or in part, in any other document without UL’s prior written approval.
