Results: Cooling to 20°C reduced purpura and pain significantly, with minimal effect on clearance. Cooling to 17°C further reduced purpura and pain but slightly affected clearance. Most patients preferred cooling to 20°C.
Conclusion: Cold air cooling significantly reduces side effects and increases patient satisfaction in laser therapy, with 20°C being an optimal balance.
