Low Back Pain Management The Lumbosacral Orthosis (LSO) is excellent for post-operative patients in need of lateral support. NexWave Zynex NexWave is a multimodality device with Interferential Current, TENS, and NMES. Patients can choose between 9 different preprogrammed regimens with a push of a button. Indicated for: • Managing symptomatic relief of chronic intractable, post-op pain • Relaxing muscle spasms • Increasing local blood circulation • Maintaining or increasing ROM • Preventing or retarding disuse atrophy • Re-educating muscles Excellent for post-operative patients in need of lateral support, the Zynex Pro LSO provides relief for secondary back pain resulting from surgery. Indicated for: • Post operative support/pain relief • Chronic low back pain • Deconditioned trunk musculature • Bulging or herniated disc • Degenerative disc disease Two Conservative Treatments The NexWave electrotherapy device combined with the Zynex Pro LSO is an ideal combination for low back pain management. Combining the two modalities allow patients to take advantage of the benefits of electrotherapy and targeted compression at the same time or separately. • Post-surgically, the LSO provides the motion restriction needed and the electrotherapy is proven to reduce the need for opioids by 25%, when used immediately after post-op*. • Pain due to injury, the LSO and electrotherapy can be used together when pain relief is needed.
