Logicon Caries Detector Clinically Proven Caries Detection Logicon caries detector™ software is a unique and clinically proven1 tool that helps you detect and treat interproximal caries at an early stage, enabling minimally invasive treatments. It is the only commercially available FDA-approved computer-aided radiographic caries diagnosis software. With a few clicks, the latest version of Logicon version 5.1 automatically scans all proximal surfaces in a bitewing radiograph and gives you a preview of the patient’s state of proximal caries. The dentist can then build a screen of selected PreScan results and manual calculations of his/her own for treatment planning. The scan results can also be shared with patients for improved communication and treatment acceptance.
