BWT provides bladder wall thermochemotherapy with uniform and precise hyperthermia over the entire bladder lumen by a closed circuit of a carefully heated Mitomycin C solution. BWT is a 50 minutes continuous procedure with uniform 44 °C over the entire bladder lumen. The procedure performed with a dedicated 3-way flexible 18 Fr silicone catheter containing no rigid part like a microwave antenna, heating element or temperature probes.
