Just rub the edges of the cassette on the heated surface to obtain a block free of burns and ready to be inserted into the clamp of the microtome. The temperature can be set from ambient up to 90°C and monitored by the control panel. The heated and removable tray allows the recovery of melted paraffin and the easy cleaning operation.
