Bone marrow biopsy needles without luxation with inner trap device PressTo (code PressTo ( d PS) needle is a device for bone tissue biopsy providing an internal trap system that T i ti ue biops enables tissue extraction without luxation. The “T” ergonomic handle offers optimal pressure and secure grip action during penetration into the cortical. The cannula of the needle is made with high quality tempered stainless steel and the centimeter markings on its surface allow to easily settle the insertion depth into the bone tissue. The special “ﬁsh mouth” sharpening of the needle tip improves penetration ability establishing a perfect cylindrical cutting (till 3 cm) that preserve the sample architecture. PressTo needle is equipped with a security system with rotation coupling which avoids the risk of movement of the stylet during insertion process. BONE MARROW BIOPSY needle offers a lot of beneﬁts compared to other similar devices on the market: - It avoids complications caused by luxation movement which causes pain to the patient; - It considerably increases the probability of positive outcome of the procedure; - It enables a simpler and safer extraction of the specimen from the needle as the specimen is itself removed together with the trap system. The particular shape of PressTo needle allows the withdrawal of tissues specimen with a greater than about 15% compared to a traditional needle on the market because, during the insertion in the bones, the tissue penetrates directly into the trap system without encountering any obstacle.
